We are Chaser Technical Services, trading as CTS company no 7062928. Our registered office is The Green House, Ninian Way, Tamworth Staffs, B77 5DE. Our landline contact number is 01827 280000 and we operate a 24/7 service.

At Chaser Technical Services we use our client’s personal information to contact them regarding alarm activations, certificates, intruder alarm key holder changes and to carry out annual Audits.

We at Chaser Technical Services do not share our client’s personal information with anyone other than the relevant ARC’s (Alarm Receiving Centres). This information is held on our behalf by the relevant ARC’s and only used when the client’s intruder alarm is activated and requires police response or client intervention.

The data is stored for a total of 12 months and is then updated in our annual audit. Also, the data can be changed upon request by the clients.

Data stays within the United Kingdom.

Our contractual right to hold, change and use customer personal information is a 12-month period from initial communication set up although changes can be made upon request i.e. contact details address etc.

Chaser Technical Services Ltd is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and to comply with applicable data protection and privacy laws. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) helps you understand what kind of information we collect in connection with our products and services, how we process such information and with whom the information is shared. Throughout this Policy the term “personal data” means information relating to an identifiable individual (i.e. information that identifies you). “CTS” refers to Chaser Technical Services Ltd. This Policy applies to personal data collected in connection with products and services offered by CTS, whether through direct interactions in person, over the telephone or on our websites (“our site”) or from other interactions with us where a link or other references incorporated to this Policy is made, for example, in connection with other websites where CTS products and services are offered.

By using this website and/or by submitting personal data to CTS via any other means, you express your agreement to the processing of your personal data in the manner provided in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use this website or provide CTS with your personal data.

What personal data do we collect?

You may choose to give us personal data directly in a variety of situations. For example, you may want to give us your name and contact information to communicate with you, to process an order, to provide you with a subscription or a service, or to do business with us if you are a supplier or a business partner. You may also provide your credit card details to buy something from us or may share a description of your education and work experience in connection with a job opening at CTS for which you wish to be considered. If you tell us that you do not want us to use your information to make further contact with you beyond fulfilling your request, we will respect your wishes.

We may also collect information relating to your use of our sites through the use of various technologies. You do not have to tell us who you are and this data is non-identifiable information normally collected as a standard part of your use of our services. For example, when you visit our sites, we may log certain information that your browser sends us, such as your internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and language, access time, and referring website addresses. We may also collect information about the pages you view within our sites and other actions you take while visiting us. In addition, we may also use such technologies to determine whether you’ve opened an e-mail or clicked on a link contained in an e-mail. Collecting information in this manner allows us to collect statistics about our websites usage and effectiveness and personalize your experience while you are on our websites, as well as tailor our interactions with you. From time to time, we may also collect information that pertains to you indirectly through other sources, such as list vendors. When we do so, we ask the vendors to confirm that the information was legally acquired by the third party and that we have the right to obtain it from them and use it.

The information that we collect, either directly or indirectly, may be combined to help us improve its overall accuracy and completeness and to help us better tailor our interactions with you.

How is my personal data used?

The following paragraphs describe in more detail how CTS may use your personal data.

Fulfilling your transaction request: If you request something from CTS, for example, a product or service, a callback, or specific marketing materials, we will use the information you provide to fulfill your request. To help us do this, we may share information with others, involved in fulfillment, for instance, CTS’s business partners, financial institutions, shipping companies, or postal or government authorities, such as customs authorities. In connection with a transaction, we may also contact you as part of our customer satisfaction surveys or for market research purposes.

Personalizing your experience on our sites: We may use information we collect about you to provide you with a personalized experience on our sites, such as providing you with content in which you may be interested and making navigation on our sites easier.

Providing support: We may use your personal information to support products or services you have obtained from us, such as notifying you of a product update or fix. We sometimes provide blog or chat room sessions on our sites to assist you while you’re navigating through our sites; we will use personal information you provide via these sessions in accordance with this Policy. Marketing: The information you provide to CTS, as well as the information we have collected about you indirectly, may be used by CTS for marketing purposes. Before we do so, however, we will offer you the opportunity to choose whether or not to have your information used in this way. You may at any time choose not to receive marketing materials from us by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each e-mail you may receive, by indicating when we call you, or by contacting us directly (please refer to “Who do I contact if I have any questions?” below).

Some of our offerings (surveys, promotions or competitions) may be co-branded, that is sponsored by both CTS and third parties. Your participation in such activity is completely voluntary. If you sign up for these offerings, your information may also be collected by and shared with those third parties. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with their privacy policies to gain an understanding of the manner in which they will handle information about you.

If you choose to “Email This Page” to a friend or colleague, we will ask for their name and e-mail address. We will automatically send a one-time e-mail sharing the page you indicated, but will not use that information for other purposes.

Recruitment: In connection with a job application or inquiry, whether advertised on a CTS site or otherwise, you may provide us with information about yourself, such as a CV. We may use this information throughout CTS in order to address your inquiry or consider you for employment purposes. Unless you tell us not to do so, we may keep the information for future consideration.

Monitoring or recording of calls, chats and other interactions: Certain transactions may involve you calling us or us calling you. Please be aware that it is CTS’s general practice to monitor and in some cases record such interactions for staff training or quality assurance purposes or to retain evidence of a particular transaction or interaction.

With whom do we share your personal data?

CTS do not sell, lease or otherwise disclose your personal data to third parties unless otherwise stated below:

Consent: We may share your personal data if we have your consent to do so.

BT RedCare: We may share your personal with our affiliates within the BT RedCare. organization or authorized third parties who process personal data for CTS for the purposes described in this Policy. Such parties are not permitted to use your personal data for other purposes and we require them to act consistently with this Policy and to use appropriate security measures to protect your personal data.

International transfers: BT RedCare Ltd. is a global organization with business processes, management structures and technical systems that cross-borders. As such, we may share personal data about you within CTS and throughout the BT RedCare. group of companies and transfer it to countries in the world where we do business in connection with the uses identified above and in accordance with this Policy. Our Policy and practices are designed to provide a globally consistent level of protection for personal data all over the world. This means that even in countries whose laws provide for less protection for your data, CTS will still handle your personal data as described here and will take steps to ensure that if transferring data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) that adequate protection for your personal data is provided.

Mandatory disclosures: We may be obligated by law to disclose your personal data to certain authorities or other third parties, for example, to law enforcement agencies in the countries where we or our third parties acting on our behalf operate. We may also disclose and otherwise process your personal data in accordance with applicable law to defend CTS and Tyco’s legitimate interests, for example, in civil or criminal proceedings.

What about data security?

CTS are committed to protecting the security of your personal data and information collected from you. We use a variety of technical, administrative and organizational security measures to help protect your data from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Such measures include, where appropriate, the use of firewalls, secure server facilities, encryption, implementing proper access rights management systems and processes, careful selection of processors and other technically reasonable measures to provide appropriate protection for your personal data against unauthorized access or disclosure. Where appropriate, we may also take backup copies and use other such measures to prevent accidental damage or destruction to your personal data. If a particular part of a CTS website supports online transactions, we will use an industry standard security measure, such as the one available through “Secure Sockets Layer” (“SSL”), to protect the confidentiality and security of online transactions.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.

What about links to non-CTS websites?

CTS websites may contain links to non-CTS websites, including links to other companies’ websites and other third party services, for example, our authorized business partners. All these websites will have privacy policies of their own. We recommend that you read the privacy policies relating to such websites. CTS is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other websites.

What about my child’s privacy?

This website is not directed to children under the age of 13 and CTS does not seek to collect any information from or engage in any transactions with persons under the age of 13. No information should be submitted to or posted on our site by users under 13 years of age. If a child under the age of 13 submits personal data to our site, we delete the information as soon as we discover it was provided by a child under 13 years of age and do not use it for any purpose. CTS encourages parents to take an active role in their children’s use of the internet, and to inform them of the potential dangers of providing information about themselves over the internet.

What about cookies, web beacons and other technology?

When you visit our site, our server may attach a small text file to your hard drive – a cookie. Cookies help us deliver a better website experience to you. They tell us whether you’ve visited us before or if you are a new visitor and help us identify site features in which you might have the greatest interest. Web cookies can enhance your online experience by saving your preferences while you are visiting a particular part of the site, can eliminate the need for you to enter your password frequently during a visit and what, if anything, you have in your shopping cart if you do not finish a transaction in a single visit. CTS may also use web beacons (also known as “clear gifs” or “pixel tags”) in connection with some websites. However, we do not use them to identify individual users personally. Web beacons are tiny graphics embedded on a website to count visitors to a website, to access certain cookies and/or to help us measure the effectiveness of particular content. We may also include web beacons in marketing email messages or our newsletters in order to determine whether messages have been opened and links contained within clicked on. Again this information is used to improve our services.

You have a choice with respect to cookies. By modifying your internet browser preferences, you have the ability to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set, or to reject all cookies. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you log on to our site. Please understand that if cookies are turned off, you may not be able to view certain parts of our site or take advantage of all our web site features. If you turn off cookies, the web beacon will no longer be able to track your specific activity. The web beacon may, however continue to collect information of visits from your IP address, but such information will no longer be unique. We may also employ Web beacons from third parties or our business partners in order to help us compile aggregated statistics regarding the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns or other operations of our sites. We may also work with other companies that advertise on CTS sites to place Web beacons on their sites in order to allow us to develop statistics on how often clicking on an advertisement on a CTS site results in a purchase or other action on the advertiser’s site.

What rights do I have regarding collection, use and distribution of my personal information? And what about keeping it accurate and up-to-date?

CTS or its business partners may, from time to time, send you email or direct mail regarding our products and services. If you do not want to receive such information, simply tell us when you give us your personal data, or follow the directions contained on the mailing to remove your name from our mailing list(s).

On certain types of CTS promotions, we will ask for your email address in order to contact you in the event you have won a prize. When you participate in these types of promotions, you may receive promotion-related email. Occasionally these promotion-related email messages may include targeted advertisements. If you do not wish to receive such advertisements, you can choose not to participate in such promotions or contests.

Please note that by refusing to provide personal data or by denying or withdrawing consent to use personal data for purposes identified, we may not be able to continue to provide services to you and you may be unable to participate in certain programs or activities sponsored by CTS.

You also have the right to know what personal data we hold about you and the right to review, amend or delete any incomplete, incorrect or outdated personal data by contacting us through the contact points set out below. We take reasonable steps to keep the personal data we possess accurate and up to date and to delete out of date or otherwise incorrect or unnecessary data. However, you are responsible for providing CTS with accurate and complete personal data, and for contacting us if correction of such data is required.
